Energy Group

The aim of this group is to explore practical ways in which people and businesses within Exmouth can work towards a more sustainable future through undergoing an energy descent. This involves both assessing current use of energy and finding ways of both reducing the enrgy used and switching to renewable energy.

This group wants to raise awareness by organizing events, meetings and promoting practical actions for energy conservation, micro-generation and renewables, and to be informed about developments in sustainable energy generation and use.

Currently the group has been asked by Exmouth Town Council to research the viability of utilising renewable energy for the seafront lights. If you are interested in joining this group contact Gill Wyatt: earthsky@tiscali.co.uk
