A Solution to Climate Change and Peak Oil
Createxe is a creative arts group affiliated to TTE. Formed in 2011 from the merger of two existing groups in the town (see below), Createxe is currently focused on bringing the arts to the public through Arts Café events (such as the Arts Café on Bank Holiday Monday 30 May). A core group within Createxe organizes the Arts Cafes. The group co-ordinator is TTE member Roger Gibson. If you would like to participate in Arts Café events (any art form) or be added to the mailing list, please get in touch. Call Roger on 01395 268074, or email: createxe@hotmail.co.uk
History
Createxe was formed from the merger of two existing groups in the town – Creative Exmouth and Createxe. Creative Exmouth, started by Jane Habermehl in 2008, was a group that communicated TTE’s message via public art events in the town. Createxe was formed in 2010 by Michael Greenland to develop the presence of the arts in Exmouth. There was some overlap in the names and aims of both groups, so in 2011 it was decided that the two groups should merge to become the new Createxe.
